There is a mortal trap of not wanting anything.
And there are substances to make you okay with the way everything is.
And it is a denial of progress, and if the rest of humanity suffered from it we never would have gotten out of the caves…
In this book…this lady is about to take a 7000 ton train at 100mph…on some new metal that people HOPE will work…a new alloy..
And there’s a bridge made of this new metal..and there is SO MUCH business backstory……..Dagney went to do her own thing.. When the imaginary capitalists turn socialist..when the equality caused all successful companies to pump the brakes..
She said fuck em..and now she’s about to take a train at 100mph on its maiden voyage..
Neat..
I appreciate the spirit..
Capitalism is still a ruthless bitch, but I appreciate the spirit 👍
