I went into the elite group a few nights ago and casually asked if anybody wanted to join my game..
That group is filled with the best players in the world..
So gauntlet has a voice feature, if you speak into the microphone your other teammates can hear you.. Well.. someone came into my game, simply said the words “fuck you” and then left..
Ya know…I try to be a friendly guy..
In game, I am 100% teammate-oriented.. I’m always looking out for my people..but still… Someone took it upon themselves to chime in with some basic bitch vulgarity..
It erked me a little, at first, but not much..
Then I tried to analyze the reasons..
Could be a social thing..
Stirring the shit-pot because sometimes a shit-pot needs to be stirred..
But it could also be jealousy..
At my prime, I would put up my synapses and reaction speed with the best of them..
I could make it through the castle layers without taking a hit..
I could completely crowd control the rooms..
But why oh why,,what oh what did I do to make someone say fuck me??
And how can I do More of that??
That’s what my younger self said..
My older self chuckles a little to himself because he knows how much it doesn’t matter..
Even this, even my wasteful recollection of events not worth recollecting.
I made somebody mad.
And I wish they had enough courage to talk about it..🤷
Maybe I was in the wrong..it’s entirely possible..
Maybe I kicked someone from my game to make way for a friend 🤷
(maybe they just hate you?)
