Reminds me of Sidney Shelton.

The other side of midnight, Master of the game, etc etc etc bloodlines..

Epic tales passing through generations and pointing out the peculiar nature of blood, the breeding.. very well done, he’s not hardcore like Cormac McCarthy or bukowski, I don’t think the author had much of a stomach for shock value or language..

More tuned into the story, which I’m enjoying.
